This page describes the Evict Them For Me (ETFM) SMS program operated by Southern Real Estate Services Group, LLC ("SRES"). It is provided so recipients, our clients, and mobile carriers can clearly understand how and why we use text messaging.
SRES, operating under the Evict Them For Me brand, acts as the assistant property manager for tenants who have been referred for eviction by our clients (property managers and property owners). As part of managing a case, we may send SMS text messages to the tenant/defendant and to our client regarding the status and logistics of that specific eviction case.
SRES does not solicit phone numbers directly from tenants. Mobile numbers are provided to us by our client (the property manager or property owner) and are typically the number the tenant supplied at lease signing. By providing a mobile phone number to SRES, to our client, or to a landlord at lease signing, you agree that SRES may contact you by SMS at that number for transactional, case-related communications.
No marketing. SRES does not send marketing or promotional content via SMS. No payment collection. SRES does not collect rent, balances, or any payment by SMS or any other channel; tenants are directed to pay their landlord directly per the lease, or to comply with the terms of any written consent order entered by the court.
Message frequency varies by case activity. Most recipients receive between 1 and 10 messages over the lifecycle of an eviction case. Message and data rates may apply — SRES is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.
We may share case information, including phone numbers, with our client (the property manager or property owner), our attorney of record, the court, and authorized process servers and set-out vendors as necessary to manage the eviction proceeding.
